Washburn Student Qualifies for State in Boys Swimming

This weekend's boys swimming and diving competition was the final step before the state tournament on March 3-5.

Washburn High School student Max Pratt qualified for the state competition in two events at the Section 2A Swimming and Diving Championship at Richfield Middle School on Saturday

Pratt took third in the 200 freestyle (1:46.69), and took first in the 500 freestyle (4:57.91). Eighth grader Page Bennett also showed promise in a number of events.
