ABOUT ST. CROIX CATHOLIC: Founded in 1856, St. Croix Catholic (SCCS) is a fully accredited Catholic school of the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis. The school educates students from preschool through 8th grade. SCCS is supported by the three local Catholic parishes of St. Michael and St. Mary of Stillwater and St. Charles of Bayport, Minnesota. The teaching staff consists of licensed and experienced lay teachers, as well as religious sisters from the teaching order of the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia. Sister Mary Juliana, O.S.P., is the principal. The mission of SCCS is to provide a superior education wherein each student, as a whole person, may achieve the full potential to excel intellectually, to live spiritually, to lead responsibly, to act justly and to serve selflessly. Students are taught to discover all the gifts God has given them and to inspire each individual to learn, to work, to play and to serve God through one another.
