Since 2002, the Lake Elmo VFW Post 5725 has granted over $55,000 through their annual scholarship program. The Lake Elmo VFW Post 5725 is now
accepting applications for the current year’s scholarship program. Over $5,000 will be distributed among
winners. Applicants must be in the top
half of their graduating class with a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Applicants must be high school graduates of
Stillwater Area High School or a high school graduate and child of a Lake Elmo
VFW member or Auxiliary member.
The deadline for applications is April
30, 2014. Applications are available at
the Stillwater Area High School, Career Center or at all three Lake Elmo Bank
locations – Lake Elmo, Oakdale and Stillwater.
Completed application forms should be
mailed to Lake Elmo VFW Scholarship Trust, Lake Elmo Bank, 600 Inwood Avenue North,
Oakdale, MN 55128. Applicants should also attach a copy of their
acceptance letter along with the name and address of the college or technical institute they plan to attend.
