Lift Bridge Brewing Co. Selects Original Gravity to Distribute Stillwater Brews
Selecting a new distributor will allow Stillwater's Lift Bridge Brewing Co. to focus all their time on brewing beer and growing production.

When Lift Bridge Brewing Co. was founded in 2008, the Stillwater guys who started it were delivering beer out of the back of a minivan.
After three years of tremendous growth in Stillwater and the Twin Cities area Lift Bridge Brewing Co. has selected Original Gravity to distribute their brews.
“It allows us to focus all of our time and on brewing great beer and growing our production capabilities,” Dan Schwarz, CEO of Lift Bridge Brewing Co. said. “It isn’t just about delivering beer, we enjoy the relationships with our retail partners. We have come a long way from delivering beer out of the back of a minivan. This is a big step forward and we are excited to work with the team at Original Gravity.”

The beer will still be brewed here in Stillwater and available in the current packages—kegs and bottles. The main change is that Original Gravity will be selling and delivering the beer in the current Lift Bridge sales territory.
“We were able to get to know the distributors and how they do business by being in the market,” Schwartz said. “The main thing was to find someone who most closely share the same values as we have.”

Hans “Hanszee” Lofgren, the beer guru at the distribution company said he has watched both Original Gravity and Lift Bridge Brewing Co grow over the last three years and always admired their “well-calculated and strategic plan.”
“We are extremely excited to add them to our great portfolio of craft beers and mutually grow together as locally owned companies for the years to come,” Lofgren, said.
The transition will take place starting Oct. 22.
Lift Bridge Brewing Co currently offers four year around beers including Farm Girl Saison, Hop Dish IPA, Chestnut Hill Brown Ale, and Crosscut Pale Ale.
Up next on the seasonal release schedule is Harvestör Fresh Hop Ale in October, Commander Barley Wine in November and Biscotti in December.
