President Trump Tweets Endorsement Of West Metro Republican
Analysts believe there's a good chance the Minnesota Republican incumbent could lose his seat in November.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Despite not making an appearance at either of his two rallies in Minnesota this year, Republican Rep. Erik Paulsen has the "strong endorsement" of President Donald Trump. Trump tweeted out his support of Paulsen on Twitter late Monday night.
Congressman Erik Paulsen of the Great State of Minnesota has done a fantastic job in cutting Taxes and Job Killing Regulations. Hard working and very smart. Keep Erik in Congress. He has my Strong Endorsement!

Trump's endorsement comes as analysts are saying there's a good chance the Republican incumbent could lose his seat in November.
Paulsen represents the Third District, comprised of west metro suburbs including St. Louis Park, Richfield, and Maple Grove. He's in a tight race against Democratic challenger Dean Phillips. The race is considered to be leaning Democratic by the Cook Political Report.
