📰 News we're reading
• More Trees: Residents Can Apply for Free Trees (weststpaulreader.com) — West St. Paul residents in designated low-canopy areas can now apply for up to three free trees through a Tree Trust program funded by a state ReLeaf grant, with applications due September 18 and pickup in October. The city is also using a Met Council grant to plant at least 300 additional park and boulevard trees, and residents can request boulevard trees online as part of a broader push to rebuild the local tree canopy.
