• St. Paul hires another law firm to determine if city must pay for mayor's legal fees in sexual harassment suit (cbsnews.com) — St. Paul officials are weighing whether taxpayers must cover Mayor Kaohly Her's legal defense in a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by Police Chief Axel Henry. The suit describes Her unexpectedly visiting Henry at a Woodbury golf simulator during his personal time, part of a broader pattern of alleged inappropriate conduct. A second law firm will now advise the council on the city's legal obligations.
   

• Donald C. Schwartz (ingstadmedia.com) — Woodbury residents may recognize the Schwartz family name, as 101-year-old Donald C. Schwartz's daughter and her family live here while he spent his long life rooted in Le Sueur. His obituary honors his military service, decades in trucking and hardware work, and his reputation as a gentle, community-minded man. Services are scheduled in mid-October in Le Sueur.
