Woman, 22, Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries In Snowmobile Crash
Police say the driver of the snowmobile — a man from North Branch — was booked for charges of criminal vehicular operation and DWI.

CHISAGO COUNTY, MN — Authorities say a 22-year-old woman suffered a serious head injury from falling off a snowmobile that collided into a vehicle parked on a lake. Officials say she was a passenger during the crash. The woman's identity is being withheld until family members can be notified.
Alcohol is believed to be the main contributing factor in the collision, authorities said.
On Feb. 3 just after midnight, deputies from the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the crash. The woman was found unconscious, according to a news release.

Police say the driver of the snowmobile — a man from North Branch — was booked for charges of criminal vehicular operation and DWI. The injured passenger and driver were not wearing helmets, according to police.
The victim was transported to Fairview Lakes Hospital in Wyoming and later transferred to the University of Minnesota Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
