• Former Mississippi Coast casino worker embezzled thousands to gamble, records say (sunherald.com) — A former employee of Harrah’s Gulf Coast in Biloxi admitted stealing $15,000 from the casino and using the money to gamble there in early 2024. She pleaded guilty this spring and received a suspended seven‑year sentence with four years of post‑release supervision. If she repays the money and completes the terms, she can avoid a felony conviction on her record.
