• $1M bond set for South Jones High student charged in classmate's drowning, district attorney says (wdam.com) — Ellisville residents are following a tragic case after a $1 million bond was set for 16-year-old Anthony Jackson, who is being charged as an adult in the drowning death of his South Jones High classmate, Ellisville teen Valiente Alba. Authorities say the incident happened May 18 in a pond near the Texaco on State Route 590, and Ellisville police remain involved as the investigation continues.
