• Lucky 7 drive-by suspect arrested (leader-call.com) — An Ellisville resident was arrested after Laurel police identified him as the suspect in a shooting into a car at the Lucky 7 convenience store, then stopped him in Ellisville with help from the Jones County Sheriff’s Department. Investigators recovered a firearm and suspected felony-level drugs from his vehicle and are working to confirm whether the gun was used in the incident.
