Ridgeland teen charged as adult in stabbing (onlinemadison.com) — Ridgeland residents should know a 16-year-old local teen has been charged as an adult with aggravated assault after a stabbing Tuesday evening at Royal Oaks Apartments on Pine Knoll Drive. Police say the victim was taken to UMMC in Jackson for treatment, and the suspect later turned himself in to Ridgeland Police. 
2. House of E. Keyes Brings Emerging Fashion Designers Showcase to Northpark Mall (wlbt.com) — Ridgeland shoppers can catch a high-energy Emerging Fashion Designers Showcase at Northpark Mall this Saturday evening, featuring local designers, vendors, and cocktails. The runway show runs from 5:30–7 p.m., with doors opening at 5, and all attendees need tickets and adult supervision for anyone under 18.
3. CAST Invitational Brings Hundreds to Clinton (theclintoncourier.net) — Ridgeland swim fans may be glad to hear their local team joined Madison Central, Germantown, St. Andrew's and others at a big CAST Invitational meet in Clinton. Hundreds of swimmers and families packed the Clinton YMCA, where Clinton's team posted strong finishes and honored seven seniors while inviting supporters to an upcoming meet in Flowood.
4. BSU's Summer Missions Program helps MC students spread the Gospel throughout the world (theclintoncourier.net) — A Ridgeland pre-nursing student played a key role in Mississippi Christian University's record-setting summer missions program, serving more than two months with a kids' ministry in Oregon. She and other MC students describe how international and stateside trips deepened their faith, stretched their comfort zones, and encouraged classmates to consider future mission opportunities.
