• City of Waveland Fire Department receives new fire truck (wxxv25.com) — Waveland's fire department just received its first new fire truck since 2006, boosting how quickly and safely firefighters can respond to local emergencies. Delivered to the Highway 90 station, the truck and another expected in November will upgrade equipment at both city stations and may help retain firefighters by giving them modern tools to work with.
