📰 News we're reading

• Former Lindbergh School District teacher and coach charged with child sex crimes (fox2now.com) — A former Lindbergh School District teacher and coach from Ballwin has been charged in St. Louis with multiple counts of statutory sodomy and attempted sodomy involving underage students, tied to incidents dating back to the 1990s and 2000s. He is jailed on a $300,000 cash-only bond while St. Louis County's cold case unit continues investigating and plans to release more details.

• Wildwood deer population survey did not yield conclusive results (westnewsmagazine.com) — Wildwood officials are wrestling with how to manage a growing deer population, and survey results show residents strongly support action but are split on whether to rely on professional culling or recreational bowhunting. A local bowhunter pointed to nearby communities like Ballwin that already allow hunting on smaller parcels, as the council narrowly voted to seek another proposal from culling contractor White Buffalo for early 2027.
