• FFA member turns livestock project into meals for families (hannibal.net) — A Sedalia meat processor played a key role in turning donated 4-H and FFA hogs into thousands of pork servings for Missouri families in need. At the Missouri State Fair, 32 exhibitors contributed 50 hogs, which were processed at Kempf's Custom Butchering in Sedalia and distributed through Feeding Missouri's food bank network, showcasing statewide agricultural generosity.
• Sedalia area crash reports for Sept. 1 (sedaliademocrat.com) — Recent Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports include a Sedalia woman who suffered minor injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on U.S. 50 in Morgan County. The roundup also details several other recent wrecks in Benton, Johnson, Henry, Pettis, and Saline counties, listing injuries, vehicle types, and where victims were transported.
