• Pleasant Hope, Mo., man accused of assaulting teen with metal chain, breaking truck (ky3.com) — Greene County deputies responded to an assault just north of Springfield where a 17-year-old driver says a man jumped into his truck bed, smashed the rear window with a metal chain, and repeatedly struck him in the head. The teen suffered serious facial injuries and possible vision loss in one eye. A Pleasant Hope man is now jailed without bond on assault and related charges.
