• Straub's Markets to close Central West End grocery store (stlpr.org) — Straub's is closing its longtime Central West End grocery later this month, but its Town and Country location will stay open along with stores in Webster Groves and Clayton. The Kingshighway store will operate with reduced hours and a closing sale through Sept. 25 or until inventory runs out, while the building is being sold to new owners.
