1. Fundraiser by Radhika Kodumuri : In Memory of Supriya, supporting her husband and child. (gofundme.com) — A recent fatal crash in Wentzville has left a young mother dead and her 2½‑year‑old child without a parent, and friends are rallying support. An online fundraiser is collecting donations to help cover the child's future education, healthcare, and daily needs, and organizers are also asking residents to share the campaign if they cannot give.
   

2. Wentzville woman killed in Highway 61 crash in St. Charles County (kttn.com) — A 29‑year‑old Wentzville woman was killed Saturday in a Highway 61 collision at Dietrich Road in St. Charles County, and two other drivers were injured. Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the Freightliner struck a Toyota crossing the southbound lanes, with all three women wearing seat belts as emergency crews responded and transported the survivors to area hospitals.
   

3. Othram Identifies 1979 Homicide Victim (forensicmag.com) — A Missouri cold case from 1979 has been solved thanks in part to legislation championed by Wentzville State Rep. Tricia Byrnes, which funded advanced DNA testing. That support helped Othram identify homicide victim Emma Lee Jordan nearly five decades after her remains were found near Robertsville, marking another success for the state's forensic genetic genealogy program.
   

4. 2 firefighters recovering after being injured in O'Fallon house fire (dailydispatch.com) — Wentzville Fire Department crews helped battle a serious house fire in nearby O'Fallon on Sunday, where two firefighters were injured when part of a garage ceiling collapsed. Officials say one firefighter suffered neck burns and a compression injury but is expected to fully recover, while crews contained the blaze in about 30 minutes and saved much of the home.
