📰 News we're reading

• 'Vital for our valley:' Streamline celebrates 20 years in service, reinstates late-night route (fairfieldsuntimes.com) — Bozeman riders can expect Streamline's late-night bus service to return around Halloween, running until 2:25 a.m. and expanding routes to key city spots and Belgrade. A new long‑range transit plan also targets south Bozeman, the airport, Bridger Canyon trailheads, and major services like Billings Clinic and Gallatin Valley Food Bank, aiming to ease traffic and improve access.

• Bozeman's McIlhattan Road closes for Bikefill bicycle park construction project (kbzk.com) — McIlhattan Road in Bozeman will close Monday from near St. Andrews Drive to Valley View Veterinary Hospital through early November for construction of the new Bikefill bicycle park. Drivers heading to Snowfill Dog Park will need to detour via Manley Road while crews realign, pave, and add stormwater upgrades and guardrails, creating a 66-acre regional bike park with five miles of trails.

• Bozeman Hawks eager to make noise in 2026 (nbcmontana.com) — Bozeman High's Hawks kick off their football season next Friday night, chasing their first state title since 2023 with a veteran lineup led by returning quarterback Van Shockley.
