• La Vista volunteer group to search reservoir for Ryan Larsen (wowt.com) — An Omaha-based volunteer group, Bring 'Em Home Nebraska, is organizing a large search Sunday evening near La Vista for missing 11-year-old Ryan Larsen, who vanished in 2021. Volunteers are asked to meet at Walnut Creek Recreation Area at 5 p.m. to comb 450 acres of grass, trees, and shoreline, as shifting reservoir levels may have exposed new clues.
   

• Nebraska musicians move to New York (and elsewhere) for careers but keep their hometown roots (thereader.com) — A group of Nebraska musicians who got their start in Omaha and North Omaha's jazz scene are building careers in New York, Los Angeles, and beyond while keeping close ties to home. • Dundee Day festival draws crowds for its annual celebration in Omaha (3newsnow.com) — Dundee neighbors and visitors packed Underwood Avenue for Dundee Day, enjoying a parade, chalk art, a 5K through Memorial and Elmwood Parks, and a bustling vendor lineup. Families like the Balmans came out to support Omaha's Dundee neighborhood, sample local food and beer, and soak up live music at this annual community celebration.
