Local Couple Brings Personalized Wellness to Southwest Las Vegas with Opening of City’s First Height

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (July 22, 2026) – Southwest Las Vegas residents now have a new destination for personalized wellness with the opening of Heights Wellness Retreat, a modern wellness destination offering massage, skincare, and touchless wellness technologies. Located at 6887 Helen Toland St, Suite 120 in UnCommons, the new Retreat is designed to help guests support their nervous system, restore balance, and build a consistent wellness practice.

Heights Wellness Retreat at UnCommons is owned and operated by local husband-and-wife team James and Eshelle Manion. James earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting before building a career in hotel revenue management, while Eshelle spent much of her career in senior living as a community relations director, helping families navigate care decisions while supporting older adults and their loved ones.

The couple was inspired to invest in Heights Wellness Retreat after caring for James' aunt and godmother during her battle with Parkinson’s disease. A lifelong advocate for self-care who regularly received massages and spa experiences, she left James and Eshelle the opportunity to pursue business ownership, hoping they would build something meaningful with it. They chose Heights Wellness Retreat as a way to honor her legacy while creating a place where others can invest in their own health and well-being.

The 2,460-square-foot Retreat will create 31 new jobs and serve residents throughout the rapidly growing southwest Las Vegas community. Located within UnCommons, a vibrant mixed-use destination featuring restaurants, retail, offices and residences, the Retreat offers a convenient place for guests to incorporate wellness into their everyday routines. Originally signing a two-unit development agreement, the Manions have plans to open a second Heights Wellness Retreat in northern Las Vegas.
