🌱 Homicide Investigation Near E Twain Ave. + Motorcyclist Dead

Here are the top 3 stories in Las Vegas today:

  1. Yesterday morning at around 11:21 a.m., a homicide took place near the 955 block of E Twain Ave. Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to calls and found one person dead when they arrived on the scene. According to reports, no suspect has been located at this time. The public was asked to avoid the area while police investigate. (News3LV)
  2. This past Saturday afternoon, a motorcyclist died after a crash with an SUV in south Las Vegas. According to reports, police arrived on the scene at around 1:11 p.m. near South Eastern Avenue. Soon after, the motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital and unfortunately succumbed to their wounds. No additional information about the crash has been released. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
  3. On Saturday, Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) hosted its first-ever "Studs and Suds" event to raise money for the organization and its cause. There were local singers, dancers, acrobats, and entertainers at the event that soaped up and scrubbed cars for everyone. It was a great time, and all of the collected proceeds will go toward the 32nd annual AIDS Walk Las Vegas. For more information, please check out the full article. (News3LV)
