Las Vegas Pedestrian Killed Monday Was 44th Traffic Fatality Of The Year
The crash happened at Flamingo Drive ad Hugh Hefner Drive.

A pedestrian was struck and killed early Monday morning, the 44th traffic fatality of the year, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. It happened just before 4 a.m..

Police say that the pedestrian a crossing Flamingo Road from south to north as a 2017 Honda Accord was headed east. The Accord struck the pedestrian who was brought to University Medical Center and pronounced dead.

The driver stayed on scene and was cooperative.
Police say that there was no indication that the driver had been impaired.
