A pedestrian was struck and killed early Monday morning, the 44th traffic fatality of the year, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Police say that the pedestrian a crossing Flamingo Road from south to north as a 2017 Honda Accord was headed east. The Accord struck the pedestrian who was brought to University Medical Center and pronounced dead. The driver stayed on scene and was cooperative.
