🌱 Macao Lockdown Affects Vegas Casinos + False Active Shooter Reports

Hello, Las Vegas! I'm back with your new copy of the Las Vegas Daily. Let's get this Monday started off right, with a quick review of everything you need to know about what's happening around town.
First, today's weather:
Partly sunny. High: 107 Low: 88.
Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:
- The Chinese gambling enclave of Macao extended its lockdown by five days. The lockdown will affect three Las Vegas-based casinos and will be in place until Jul. 23 with the suspension of dine-in services. Casino's are Macao's main income generator. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)

- The Las Vegas Police Department announced that reports of an active shooter on the Vegas Strip were unfounded. Social media accounts falsely spread videos of people scrambling on casino floors in response to gunfire. The initial report indicated that the incident was occurring near MGM. The department suspects that the reaction was due to a glass door shattering loudly. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
