(Patch Media)

Hello again, everybody! It's me, Dominique-Noelle Rafael, your host of the Las Vegas Daily. Here's what you need to know about what's happening in the community today...

First, today's weather:

Plenty of sunshine. High: 101 Low: 80.

Here are the top 3 stories in Las Vegas today:

  1. A man has been accused of peeping at a woman at the Tropicana Hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard. Lennard Davis is now facing spying through a camera and battery charges. According to the police report, the incident took place on Jun. 11 at around 1:35 a.m. The victim said that she went to use the restroom and saw a person holding a camera focused on her. Since then, Davis has been arrested and booked into Clark County Detention Center. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
  2. Did you know that running can lead to a lot of injuries? Due to this fact, researchers at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas are working on finding solutions for runners to remain fit while they heal. According to Professor John Mercer, there are three types of runners: injured runners, runners recovering from injuries, and runners who are about to be injured. One solution they found was to run in deep water. To learn more about their findings, please read the full article! (KNPR)
  3. Are you looking to find a new home in the Las Vegas area? Patch and Redfin have got you covered. They have compiled a list of the best new homes on the market so you don't have to! There is a beautiful 2,947-square-foot unit with four beds and three and a half baths that you have to check out. For the full list, please read the full article. (Las Vegas Patch)
