Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:
- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) is seeking the public's assistance in finding a missing 96-year-old man. Jesse Jones was last seen yesterday around 1:40 a.m. on Bush Poppy Avenue in west Las Vegas; a full description of Jones is available in the full story. Anyone with information is asked to contact the LVMPD or the Missing Persons Detail. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
- As part of Earth Hour, Caesars Entertainment's properties on the Las Vegas Strip will go dark from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. The effort is designed to raise awareness of climate change, according to a release from Caesars Entertainment. Fox5 has reportedly reached out to other casinos on the strip to see if they will also participate in Earth Hour. (Fox5 Las Vegas)
- Nevada will host its inaugural Healthcare Provider Summit in Las Vegas next month. The summit, scheduled for Apr. 19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, is designed to bridge gaps in health services and connect community partners, state agencies, and stakeholders.
