- According to southern Nevada's most famous tortoise, spring has finally sprung into action! Mojave Max emerged from his home this past Saturday and marked the official start to spring. The community should be expecting to see warmer temperatures and longer daylight just around the corner. (News3LV)
- After the conclusion of a months-long investigation of a major narcotics trafficking organization, agents ended up arresting four individuals that have been suspected to be involved. Along with that, agents were also able to seize a great amount of illegal synthetic drugs and firearms. One of the suspects, 35-year-old Martel Rivera Jr. "was responsible for distributing bulk quantities of methamphetamine and suspected fentanyl pills in California and Las Vegas," according to investigators. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- A Ukrainian woman is going to be delivering over 200 pounds of tourniquets to her home country to help the people of Ukraine. Tourniquets are devices that apply pressure to a limb in order to stop the flow of blood. Alona Burns and her 16-year-old son Maximus Ambartsoumian utilized their community and were able to collect around 1,100 tourniquets in just a few weeks. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
