1. 19-year-old motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries after North Las Vegas crash, police say (fox5vegas.com) — A serious crash at Lake Mead Boulevard and McDaniel Street in North Las Vegas left a 19-year-old motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries and under investigation by the Major Collision Investigation Unit. Police say impairment is not suspected and are asking anyone who saw the collision, or has information, to contact North Las Vegas Police or Crime Stoppers of Nevada.
   

2. Las Vegas families attend STEM Saturday at Atomic Museum (fox5vegas.com) — Las Vegas families can tap into free, hands-on STEM fun at the Atomic Museum's monthly STEM Saturday, where kids explore topics like electromagnetism and then tour the museum. Sponsored by the Nevada National Security Site, sessions are already filling with waitlists, showing strong local demand. Events run the first Saturday of each month during the school year, with registration available online.
   

3. Nevada officer adopts goldendoodle abandoned at Las Vegas airport (thecooldown.com) — At Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, a two-year-old goldendoodle abandoned at a ticket counter was rescued and later adopted by the Las Vegas police officer who found him. 5. Rep. Steven Horsford hosts LaborFest in Nevada as families face rising costs (news3lv.com) — More than 1,000 people gathered in Las Vegas for Rep. Steven Horsford's Workers & Families LaborFest, a free event celebrating working Nevadans and offering voter registration and community resources. Attendees enjoyed food, music, and family activities while organizers emphasized easing rising costs for housing, groceries, and utilities and promoting good-paying jobs across the state.
