Trump International Hotel Arson Not Political

The man charged with setting two fires at the Trump International Hotel on Wednesday was not politically motivated, officials said on Thursday. Roger Fraley, who was arrested at the scene, is charged with arson and burglary.

"Evidence at the scene and information gathered by investigators suggests that this incident was not politically motivated," Clark County Fire said in a statement.

Nearly four dozen fire personnel responded to the scene around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.
One fire was in the women's restroom on the pool deck and the other was in the hallway on the 17th floor.

Both fires involved two toasters and some combustible material. Neither fire set off the sprinklers but both fires did activate the smoke alarms.
A security guard at the hotel suffered minor injuries while apprehending Fraley.
Fraley, who told investigators that he had been looking to cause mischief, is being held on $90,000 bail.
