Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:

  1. A woman was killed after she was run over by a motor home in the 3500 block of Highland Drive on Tuesday. The woman reportedly fell into the street as an RV was making a turn and was struck by the vehicle. Officials say the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, but no additional details were released. (Las Vegas Sun)
  2. Home prices in Southern Nevada are still on the rise, despite the fact that fewer homes are actually selling, according to data from Las Vegas Realtors. The data shows that prices have nearly quadrupled over the last 10 years, and the median price of single-family homes is currently $460,000 — a 26.7 percent year-over-year increase. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
  3. Amid the war in Ukraine, some refugees have settled in Las Vegas, while others have been denied entry to the U.S. For instance, Las Vegas resident Alona Burns recently went to Poland to bring 10 Ukrainian refugees back, but only three were actually allowed to continue on to Nevada. The other seven, including her own niece and her children, were denied at the U.S. Embassy. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
