Reno residents are invited to dispose of large trash and debris, tires, small appliances, green waste, and bicycles. Duerr is also using a portion of her council funds to offer residents an opportunity to dispose of household hazardous waste thanks to a partnership with HERO Environmental Services.
“It’s important to know that not all items can be picked up during your regularly scheduled trash pickups,” said Duerr. “Improper disposal of hazardous waste can result in pollution and dangers to human and animal health. I encourage residents to know what’s considered to be hazardous waste, and take advantage of free cleanups like this one to help protect our environment and keep Reno healthy.”
