Reno police release bodycam video from I-80 officer-involved shooting (mynews4.com) — Reno residents are getting their first official look at body camera footage from an August 23 fatal officer-involved shooting on I-80 near Mogul, involving a Reno Police officer and an armed motorist. Investigators say the man repeatedly refused to drop his handgun before raising it toward officers, who then fired. The suspect, a 22-year-old from Sparks, died at the scene and the investigation continues.
   

2. Reno Phil presents free family concert 'Tchaikovsky Discovers America' Saturday at the Pioneer Center (kolotv.com) — Families in Reno can enjoy a free, kid-friendly Tchaikovsky concert at the Pioneer Center this Saturday, Sept. 12, with hands-on activities starting at 3 p.m. and the performance at 4 p.m. The 50-minute show blends live actors, storytelling, and famous Tchaikovsky pieces to introduce children to orchestral music in a fun, accessible way.
   

3.
