- Splash pad water play area

“Cyan Park is a park for the people,” Delgado said. “We listened to what our Ward 3 residents wanted in a new park. While the pandemic delayed the official opening celebration of the park until this summer, the construction was completed earlier this spring and the park facilities were open for public use. Residents in and around the neighborhood are already discovering all the great things the park has to offer.”

An eight-question survey was initiated by the City of Reno to gain public input on the desired improvements for Cyan Park Phase II construction. Nearly 1,000 residents responded to the survey, which helped the City put together a preliminary conceptual design.
A public meeting was held to present the design to residents where questions and concerns were fielded by staff. The design was then presented to the Recreation and Parks Commission and the Reno City Council for approval.
