This week, sponsored by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International and celebrated annually, honors the thousands of men and women who respond to emergency calls, dispatch emergency professionals and equipment and render life-saving assistance to the world’s citizens.
The public is invited to a Dispatch Blood Drive on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 12 p.m. (Noon) following current COVID-19 mitigation measures. The Vitalant blood drive is from 12 (Noon) to 4 p.m. and is open to the public. If you are healthy and able to donate, please consider making an appointment as the current blood supply is critically low for Northern Nevada.
