D.1 - ReIgnite Reno Business Fees
Staff provided council with updates on support for the business community affected by the COVID-19 downturn. So far, the city has provided more than $5 million to small businesses in CARES Act funds. Council directed staff to work on a case-by-case basis for any businesses facing late fees. Staff proposed payment plans for past due fees and extended reductions for businesses that remain closed.
B.17 - Arts & Culture Grants
Council approved more than $193,000 across 25 regional arts and university programs.

B.18 - Rapid Rehousing
Council approved a contract with Safe Embrace for housing assistance through October of 2022. This funding from the Housing and Urban Development Department will serve survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking by providing housing assistance, emergency shelter, transitional housing, advocacy services, and case management.
D.2 - Shelter Operations Contract
Council approved the contract between the city and the Volunteers of America amendment for the existing contract to operate the regional Men’s Shelter.
D.5 - 2050 Regional Transportation Plan
Leadership with the Regional Transportation Commission shared the outlook moving forward with fuel tax, investments in Downtown Reno, connections with the University of Nevada, along with safety improvements.
D.6 - City of Reno Stormwater Utility
Council approved the public outreach and communications plan for the proposed utility during the summer of 2020. This utility will collect a new fee from property owners and will provide a dedicated funding source for engineering and construction of new or replaced infrastructure to improve drainage and reduce flooding.
