After Wind, #SnowInApril Expect Cold Temps in NH

Weather forecasters are warning that it could drop down into the teens and be cold for the beginning of the month. Expect some rain, too.

As NH Patch warned earlier this week, expect some snow late tonight and early on Monday, which could make the morning commute a bit difficult.

AccuWeather.com reported that the storm would be a fast moving one that will bring some snow, strong winds, and cold temperatures. Originally, it was thought to be in the four-inch range but now, the snow is expected to be between one and three inches from the Lakes Region to the Massachusetts border.

And it’s expected to stay cold for a bit, according to AccuWeather.com. Their forecasters are predicting that waves of cold will come into the region from Canada for the early part of the month, making it abnormally cold for the season, due to the southern shift of the polar vortex.
