Amherst Police Log: Salem Teen Arrested on Drug, Alcohol Charges
Plus, Massachusetts man arrested for theft; Merrimack teen arrested for drugs.

Incidents
- 2:36 a.m. on Feb. 26, 2015: Amherst Police were sent to a single vehicle accident, without injuries, on Route 101A.
- Noon on March 4: Police were called to a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of AAMCO between a vehicle being driven by an elderly man and a parked vehicle. There were no injuries reported.
- 3:09 p.m. on March 4: Two vehicles crashed on Boston Post Road. No injuries were reported.
- 3:12 p.m. on March 4: A two-vehicle crash, in the parking lot of Diacom, was reported. There were no injuries.
Arrests
Emma Klapka, 17, of Merrimack, was arrested at midnight on March 1, and charged with driving after suspension, transportation of a controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug. She was scheduled to be arraigned in Milford District Court today.

Joseph Peter Kearney, 32, of Tyngsborough, MA, was arrested at 11:11 a.m. on March 4, on a theft by deception charge. Kearney previously was arrested in August 2012 in Westford, MA, on a fugitive from justice warrant and drug charges. A few days later, he was arrested again on a warrant in Salem. In September 2012, he was arrested in Nashua for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
Yaralee Bonano, 23, of Nashua, was arrested at 10:50 a.m. on March 5, on a charge of driving after suspension. Bonano is due in court on April 2.

Zachary Leonard, 18, of Salem, was arrested at 7:48 p.m. on March 5, and charged with possession of a controlled drug, transportation of a controlled drug, unlawful possession of alcohol, and transportation of alcohol by a minor. He was released on $6,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in Milford District Court on April 2.
