4. Bedford Achievements of the Day. The following local residents were named to the Fall 2011 Dean's List at Saint Michael's College, a liberal arts, residential Catholic college located in Burlington, VT. Students who complete a minimum of 12 credits and achieve a grade point average of at least 3.4 at the end of a semester are recognized for their scholarship by inclusion on the Dean's List:

• Michael Crowell, son of Gregg and Phyllis Crowell of Bedford, a Senior English and Secondary Education major, who graduated from Manchester High School West before coming to Saint Michael's.
• Lauren Fish, daughter of Cindy and David Fish of Bedford, a Senior English major, who graduated from Manchester High School West before coming to Saint Michael's.
• Erin Williams, daughter of James and Susan Williams of Bedford, a First-Year Business Administration major, who graduated from Bedford High School before coming to Saint Michael's.
