Bellwether Community Credit Union Hires Learning and Development Specialist

MANCHESTER, NH – Bellwether Community Credit Union (BCCU) has appointed Liam Jewell as a Learning and Development Specialist. Jewell will use his expertise to mentor, grow and develop employees by customizing development programs to meet the needs of each individual and their respective department. He will also cross train new and current employees across all credit union service lines. 

President/CEO of Bellwether Community Credit Union, Michael L’Ecuyer, explained that investing in employees is part of Bellwether’s mission to provide an enhanced level of service throughout the organization.  “Liam’s training programs will enrich our employees’ growth and development,” stated L’Ecuyer. “His contributions will benefit the organization as a whole and most importantly improve our members’ experience.” 

In addition to his role with Bellwether, Jewell donates his time to several organizations. Jewell serves on the Community Review Team at Granite United Way, a group that grants hundreds of thousands of dollars to local community non profit organizations. He is also a Puppy Raiser with the Guiding Eyes for the Blind organization. Jewell is currently raising a yellow Labrador Retriever named Nashua that will become a seeing eye dog for someone in need. As part of the Nashua’s preliminary training, he joins Jewell at Bellwether everyday to become acclimated to the work environment and increase his socialization skills.

Jewell earned his BA from Plymouth State University and is currently pursuing an MBA in Human Resources from Southern New Hampshire University.

Jewell resides in Penacook, NH with his wife.
