Car Crash Leads to Aggravated DWI, Heroin, Other Charges
Police also arrested Rebecca Ricard for child endangerment on Friday night for allegedly having a juvenile passenger in the vehicle.

MANCHESTER, NH – A local woman was arrested on numerous charges after an accident on Union Street in Manchester on Friday night, according to police.
Rebecca Ricard, 34, of Manchester, was arrested on Dec. 11, 2015, and charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, endangering the welfare of a child, and three counts of possession of a controlled drug.

According to police, officers were sent to Union Street near Webster for a crash at just past 9 p.m.
The officer met up with Ricard and a juvenile passenger who was a relative of hers and after investigating the incident, reportedly found that Ricard “struck a parked vehicle.” Police allegedly “gathered enough probable cause” to arrest her for aggravated DWI and child endangerment and after doing so, allegedly found her to be in possession of 0.9 grams of heroin, 7.2 grams of marijuana and 3.5 oxycodone pills, according to the report.

“Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash,” Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department offered in a statement.
Ricard was released on $2,000 cash/surety bail and is due in court on Dec. 28.
