Frederick’s Pastries in Bedford, NH will be holding a book signing on Saturday, September 21 from 1-3PM with Lori Zimmerman, author of “Miles Smiles The Healing Kitty”, where all proceeds of Zimmerman’s book will be donated to The Animal Rescue League of NH.

“A puzzle isn’t made by one piece. The Animal Rescue League has so many pieces to their puzzle to make it work and function. Volunteers walking dogs, cleaning animal cages… people coordinating events and overseeing them, people who are on a special list who want to be called upon for dire medical emergencies to help financially, people running 5k road races, donating pet food, cat litter and so many other people who are part of the Animal Rescue Leagues puzzle make it whole and functioning. It brings me such joy to be a part of the Animal Rescue League's puzzle with the story book of Miles. Whether it's purchasing a book or a cupcake at the upcoming book signing at Frederick's Pastries, everything counts towards making the puzzle come together at the Animal Rescue League of Bedford, N.H. My husband and I adopted Miles at the Bedford Animal Rescue League and he has truly healed our hearts in the loss of our beloved cat that we had for eighteen years. The League receives no federal, state or United way funding. We all hold the pieces to the puzzle” Says Zimmerman.
