MANCHESTER, NH — Queen City police are asking for the public's help finding a Manchester man they claim was involved in a shooting incident downtown Saturday. Police were sent to the area of the Red Arrow Diner on Lowell Street around 2:30 a.m. for a report of shooting. According to Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the Manchester Police Department, there was an argument outside of the diner, and as it escalated, there was gunfire.

"Two men were hit," she said, "one in the neck and one in the lower extremities. Both were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries."

The case led to undercover police officers from Manchester chasing a driver from Interstate 93 to Concord Gardens Apartments on the Concord Heights on Saturday. A man was detained and questioned by police, according to scatter chatter. No one was arrested after the chase, Hamel said.
