A hybrid fusion of figure skating Off-Ice. Figure Skating, Hockey and other Roller Sports are taught on a unique Inline Skate that mimics an ice blade. We are the first of its kind in New Hampshire. The invention of this hybrid skate has led to the growing sport of Inline Figure Skating. We also skate on quad roller skates for those who prefer. Our school is member of WIFSA (World Inline Figure Skating Association) and USARS (United States of America Roller Sports) First of it's kind, Artistic In-Line and Roller Skating Lessons. Providing a fun and safe skating experience for skaters of all ages and abilities, with programming endorsed by WIFSA which teaches correct skating technique while promoting physical fitness. NERS follows the curriculum of Learn To Skate USA with a commitment to the best quality programming and coaching in New England. If your goal is to skate recreationally or advance to the competitive worlds of figure skating sanctioned by WIFSA, USARS and others, NERS has the right class for you. We skate year round. We welcome all ages and levels. No experience is necessary. Start anytime. We prorate. Our classes run in 8 weekly sessions for 2 hours on Friday nights from 6:30-8:30 PM and Saturday from 9-11 AM We also have Advanced Freestyle on Friday from 5:30-6:30 PM for more technical advanced coaching and training. BEDFORD, NH — A New Hampshire man has been charged with first-degree assault after Manchester Police determined a 3-month-old under his care was admitted to Elliot Hospital with a brain injury. Michael Roberson, 25, called 9-1-1 in June claiming the infant was having a seizure. Manchester Police said the child was evaluated at the hospital and determined to have bleeding on the brain from a traumatic injury that was not accidental. A warrant was issued for Roberson's arrest on Wednesday and he was arrested on Thursday.
