Reward Issued in Denise Robert Murder Case
Union Leader Corp., co-workers, and an anonymous donation collected $17,500 in an effort to crack the shooting case of a Bedford ad rep.

Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Police Chief Enoch Willard announced on Sept. 2, 2015, a reward of up to $17,500 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Denise Robert of Bedford, according to a press statement.
According to the release, $10,000 of the reward was donated by an anonymous donor, $5,000 of this reward was donated by the Union Leader Corporation, the Union Leader Charitable Foundation, Denise Robert’s co-workers and fellow members of the New Hampshire NewsGuild, and friends, and another $2,500 of the reward was donated by the Manchester Police Crime Line.
Public support continues and officials anticipate that the reward may be higher pending several businesses reaching out on behalf of the Robert family. At this time, a tipster may be eligible to collect $17,500, according to the statement.

As previously reported, at approximately 9 p.m., on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, the Manchester Police Department received a 911 call reporting a person in the road. Officers responded to the area of Ray and Carpenter streets and when they arrived, they discovered Robert in the road, deceased.

The investigation has also revealed that a loud firecracker-type noise was heard and a pickup truck was seen quickly leaving the area. Police continue to work to locate the pickup truck and speak with its driver. The witnesses interviewed at this time describe the pickup and the driver as: a dark colored pickup truck driven by a white male in his 20s to 30s, with short, cropped hair.
Robert was wearing white New Balance sneakers, white jean-type shorts with a white belt, and a long-sleeved, white and dark purple (almost black) striped shirt. Anyone in the city who has a home security or video surveillance system is asked to review the tapes to determine if Robert, her vehicle, or the pickup truck was captured.
Anyone who saw Robert on Sunday, Aug., 30, 2015, or who saw the pickup truck/driver described by the witnesses or who has any information regarding Robert’s murder is asked to call the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711 or anonymously at Manchester Crimeline at 603-624-4040.
Since Aug. 31, 2015, the Manchester Police have received approximately a dozen tips about Robert’s murder. The police continue to follow-up on each of these leads and continue to investigate every aspect of this murder. It is crucial that any person who has any information regarding this murder report to the police what information is known to them, no matter how inconsequential the person believes the information may be.
