Shooting Suspect Surrenders To Manchester Police: Report

Keenan Velasquez allegedly shot at another man and hit a postal truck on Wednesday. He's due back in court next month.

MANCHESTER, NH — A man wanted for allegedly shooting at another man in the Queen City this week surrendered to police l, according to a press statement. Keenan Velasquez, 20, of Manchester, was arrested on Feb. 22, 2018, a warrant for attempted first-degree assault, a felony. Police allege that on Wednesday, officers were sent to Lake Avenue in Manchester for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, they spoke with the victim who alleged that he was working on a vehicle when a person that he knew from previous contacts – Velasquez – approached him and allegedly began shooting at him. One of the three shots, according to police, struck a postal truck.
