• 'It's emotional to look at it as it is now': Three-alarm blaze destroys Beanie's Bar & Grill in Loudon (concordmonitor.com) — Canterbury firefighters were among more than a dozen departments called to help battle a three-alarm blaze that destroyed Beanie's Bar & Grill in nearby Loudon early Monday morning. The longtime local gathering spot burned heavily in the back half of the building, and one firefighter suffered a minor injury. The owners say they plan to rebuild the popular community hangout.
