2 Cars Crash In Downtown Concord: Watch

Two cars collided at Pleasant and South State streets on Wednesday.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a two-vehicle crash downtown on Wednesday.

Around 9 p.m., two cars collided at the intersection of Pleasant and South State streets. The call initially came in as a car into a utility pole but after officers arrived, they found there were two cars involved in the crash and one later drove into the pole.

The first arriving officer reported gas and oil “leaking everywhere” due to the crash, according to scanner chatter. Traffic was diverted from the area from South State Street onto Wall Street while the crash was investigated and cleared.
