2-Vehicle Crash, With Injuries, Reported In Concord's West End

Watch: Concord firefighters and police were sent to Auburn and Forest streets in Concord for an accident Sunday.

CONCORD, NH — One driver was taken to Concord Hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Concord's West End Sunday. At just before 3 p.m., dispatchers received a report of a crash at the intersection of Auburn and Forest streets. When they arrived, firefighters and officers found a Kia sedan and a Honda Element had collided on the southwest side of the intersection.

The driver of the Element, a man, was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The force of the accident led to a stop-street sign being knocked down and tow trucks were lined up for both vehicles.

Police closed off the north side of Auburn at Franklin Street and diverted traffic from the area for a little more than an hour while firefighters directed northbound traffic around the crash scene.

First responders cleared the scene at just before 4 p.m.
