The State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit believes that the driver of the SUV was traveling north when another vehicle merged into the high-speed lane in front of the SUV, causing the driver of the SUV to swerve to avoid a collision. The driver lost control of the vehicle, which slid into the median and rolled over a number of times, according to officials. Impairment didn't appear to be a factor but all aspects of the investigation remain open, State Police noted.
Gormley Funeral Service in West Roxbury is handling services for all three individuals, according to posts online.
