6-Plus Inches Of Snow And Ice Expected As ‘Massive Winter Storm’ Heads To New Hampshire: Weather Update
AccuWeather forecasters are saying half a foot or more of snow should be expected between Sunday and Monday from the Lakes Region south.

CONCORD, NH — The upper end of a “massive winter storm,” only expected to graze New Hampshire, is predicted to move north, bringing 6 inches or more of snow and ice from the Lakes Region south.
Originally, the storm was expected to affect southern New Hampshire cities and towns, including Nashua, Salem, and Hampton, with 1 to 6 inches of snow. Forecasters from the National Weather Service were more concerned with the deep freeze expected this weekend. But during the past 24 hours, both the NWS and AccuWeather.com increased snow predictions northward.
In an alert on Thursday morning, the NWS warned of snow showers and squalls on Thursday and Friday, as well as the coldest air of the season for the region, with double digit below zero windchill factors.
