Wanted, Accused Controlled Substance Distributor Surrenders

Update: Queen City resident Jared Woodman turned himself in Wednesday on fentanyl and crack cocaine charges that were issued last month.

Update: 1:40 p.m. on Dec. 11: Shortly after being featured as this week's New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week, Jared W. Woodman surrendered to U.S. Marshals in Manchester. According to Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White, task force members were conducting interviews in the Queen City Wednesday attempting to track down Woodman. During this process, investigators were able to make contact with Woodman and he agreed to surrender.

About 30 minutes later, he was arrested without incident at a store on Valley Street in Manchester. He was transported to U.S. District Court in Concord for processing. Woodman is being held pending a court appearance in the near future.

Members from the Hillsborough. Rockingham, and Strafford county sheriff’s offices, the Federal Protective Service, along with deputy U.S. Marshals were involved in the arrest, White said.

CONCORD, NH — The District of New Hampshire – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is searching for information about a New Hampshire man wanted on substance distribution charges – specifically, crack cocaine and fentanyl. Jared W. Woodman is 36, about 6-feet, 1-inch tall, and weighs around 270 lbs. He has blue eyes and brown hair.

Woodman has two tattoos – the name "Jacqueline" on his chest and an alien-transformer on his left arm. He is wanted on two felony counts. The U.S. Attorney's Office issued a warrant against him on Nov. 14, 2019.

"Woodman is wanted a federal arrest warrant for two counts of distributing controlled substances," Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White stated. "The case originated at the Manchester Police Department and was adopted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Hampshire for federal prosecution. Woodman was last known to reside in Manchester."
